2. Installing a theme

First of all, make sure you have installed BetterDiscord (https://betterdiscord.app/)

Step 1: Download the theme Step 2: Save the file somewhere you can find it Step 3: Open the themes folder : ◽️ Go to your Discord’s settings ◽️ Under themes, click on the «Open themes folder» button

Step 4: Put the theme file inside the themes folder Step 5: Reload Discord using CTRL+R (or CMD+R on MacOS) Step 6: Enable the theme : ◽️ Go to your Discord’s settings ◽️ Under themes, enable your theme by clicking the switch on the right

3. Customize your theme

All themes are provided with images & color, but you can easily customize your theme by following these steps

METHOD 1: Editing the theme file

Step 1: Open the theme file using any text editor (please don’t use notepad :c) Step 2: Find the «:root» part, this is where all color and images are defined Step 3: Change values to your liking ◽️ For images, replace the link, it must be a direct link (www.website.com/exemple-img.png) (you can use .png/.jpg/.jpeg/.gif) ◽️ For colors, replace the color code, you can use this website to get color codes (https://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_picker.asp)

2. Installing a theme

  1. Download the theme using the download link in the theme list (4.)
  2. Save the file somewhere you can find it
  3. Open the themes folder
  • Go to discord setting
  • Go to themes
  • Click on «open themes folder»

3. Customize your theme

  1. Open the theme file

  • Go to themes

  • Drag the theme file from downloads to the theme folder. Now again navigate to the bandaged BD section and click on a theme. You will find your theme over there, toggle the switch on to enable it.

    The main cause here seems like the browser cache. Copy the theme link and paste it into your chrome browser, if you are not using chrome. If you are already using chrome then click on the 3 dots at the very right-hand top and choose “ Incognito Mode ”.

    Sometimes we download the file twice and when you will drag the duplicate file (1) then it won’t work. To delete the extra theme file and drag the original one as shown in the image.
